Tomatoes, Onion, Jalapeño, Cilantro, & Limes.  5 simple ingredients that make up one of the best condiments around!  Pico De Gallo isn’t just for tacos!

  • Yield: 2 cups 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
  • 1 Tbsp jalapeño, finely diced
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 large or 2 small tomatoes, diced
  • 2 Tbsp cilantro, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine the onion, jalapeño, lime juice, & salt while you chop the tomatoes and cilantro.
  2. Add the diced tomatoes and cilantro to the bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Taste, and add more salt, lime juice, or cilantro if needed.

Notes

* This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled!

*I did measure this to have some preciseness, but feel free to add more or less of what you like. Sometimes raw onion isn’t everyone’s favorite, so add a little less.   I might need to puree this and see how it tastes – will report back!
