The perfect addition to your salad, cheese board, or just a simple side snack!  These are so simple to make.  Make extra – they won’t last!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecan pieces
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 8 teaspoons (2 tablespoons, 2 teaspoons) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350˚F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper (makes for easier clean-up).
  2. Combine all of the ingredients for the pecans in a small bowl and mix so that they are well-coated.
  3. Spread them onto the baking sheet and bake for about five minutes.  Rotate the pan in the oven and continue baking for about 5 more minutes, until they appear toasted.
