  • 1 teaspoon matcha, Ceremonial Grade Matcha
  • 1 ounce whole milk
  • 1 ounce heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 1/2 ounces Vodka
  • 1/2 ounce white chocolate creme de cacao
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the matcha. In a small bowl, whisk together 1 teaspoon of matcha powder with 2 tablespoons of hot (not boiling) water using a bamboo whisk or small hand frother until smooth and frothy. This step helps dissolve the matcha and prevents clumps. Let the matcha cool completely before moving to the next step — this ensures your cocktail stays chilled and doesn’t dilute.
  2. Combine ingredients. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the prepared (and cooled) matcha, vodka, white chocolate creme de cacao, simple syrup, milk, and heavy whipping cream.
  3. Shake it up. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds. The goal is to chill the drink while creating that gorgeous frothy top layer.
