- 1 ounce hot water
- 1 teaspoon matcha, Ceremonial Grade Matcha
- 1 ounce whole milk
- 1 ounce heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1 1/2 ounces Vodka
- 1/2 ounce white chocolate creme de cacao
- Ice

- Prepare the matcha. In a small bowl, whisk together 1 teaspoon of matcha powder with 2 tablespoons of hot (not boiling) water using a bamboo whisk or small hand frother until smooth and frothy. This step helps dissolve the matcha and prevents clumps. Let the matcha cool completely before moving to the next step — this ensures your cocktail stays chilled and doesn’t dilute.
- Combine ingredients. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the prepared (and cooled) matcha, vodka, white chocolate creme de cacao, simple syrup, milk, and heavy whipping cream.
- Shake it up. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds. The goal is to chill the drink while creating that gorgeous frothy top layer.
- Strain and serve. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass. For a more elegant touch, dust the top with a light sprinkle of matcha powder or white chocolate shavings. Serve immediately and enjoy your smooth, creamy, and slightly energizing Matcha Martini.
