- 1/2 cup natural creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 1/4 cup – 1/2 cup water, as needed
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add the peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, and sesame oil.
- Whisk until smooth, then slowly add warm water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to thin the sauce to your desired consistency.
- Add ginger (freshly grated or minced). Whisk again to combine.
- Taste and adjust—add more soy sauce for saltiness, rice vinegar for brightness, or a touch more sweetener if needed.
- Optional: Stir in a pinch of red pepper flakes or a few drops of sriracha if you want some heat.
- Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. Stir before using.
