5 from 1 review

This creamy peanut sauce is one of those recipes you’ll want to keep on repeat. It’s rich, flavorful, and comes together in minutes with simple pantry staples. Whether you drizzle it over noodles, use it as a dip for veggies, or spoon it onto grain bowls, it adds a delicious punch of flavor to just about anything.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 16 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup1/2 cup water, as needed
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, add the peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, and sesame oil.
  2. Whisk until smooth, then slowly add warm water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to thin the sauce to your desired consistency.
  3. Add ginger (freshly grated or minced). Whisk again to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust—add more soy sauce for saltiness, rice vinegar for brightness, or a touch more sweetener if needed.
  5. Optional: Stir in a pinch of red pepper flakes or a few drops of sriracha if you want some heat.
  6. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. Stir before using.
